The last class for 2008 will be on Thursday 18 December 2008 and the first class

Happy 5th Birthday Harrow Choi Kwang Do |

Thursday 9th October 2008 marked Harrow Choi Kwang Do School's 5th Birthday!
Classes began 5 years ago in a small dance studio at Harrow High School. As a school we
have grown in both size and reputation. Now training in state of the art facilities
with a healthy student base we contiinue to go from strength to strength!
Congratulations to all the Instructors at the school for their hard work and continued
success! Pil Suhng!

Introducing our newest Black Belts |

The students and instructors of Harrow Choi Kwang Do would like to congratulate Harrow CKD's
newest Black Belts on their promotion to First Degree Black Belt! Namely, Mr Rohan Amliwala,
Mr Sagar Amliwala, Mr Paul Saggar, Mr Jaymin Shah and Miss Ginisha Vekaria.
All five performed exceptionaly well at the testing on Sunday, 21st September 2008. Pil Suhng!

Regional Black Belt Classes |

Due to popular demand we are pleased to confirm the return of our regional Black Belt Classes.
These classes will be tailored to cover the advanced areas of the Choi Kwang Do syllabus and will be led by
some of the most senior Instructors in the UK.
Our region is fortunate to have 6 International Instructors with a wealth of experience.

6.40pm 7.30pm Childrens Class (White Green Snr Belts)
7.30pm 8.20pm Leadership Class (Blue Belts & Above)

WE HAVE MOVED - Harrow CKD's New Dojahng |
 |
January 2008 saw double Olympic Gold Medallist Dame Kelly Holmes open the new Sports Hall,
Changing Rooms and Drama Suite at Claremont High School. The £2.3m project has taken 18 months
to complete and provides state of the art facilities for the students to use.
Harrow Choi Kwang Do School is delighted to confirm that we are continuing our ties with Claremont
High School and have exclusive use of the NEW SPORTS HALL and FACILITIES for our students.

Mr Lad Promoted To Fourth Degree Black Belt |
 |
Congratulations and Pil Suhng to Mr Chandresh Lad, School Owner of Harrow Choi Kwang Do on his
promtion to Sa Dan - 4th Degree Black Belt and title of International Instructor & Examiner.
In a private Testing at the Ellis Accademy of Choi Kwang Do (Redhill), Mr Lad and the other
4th & 5th Dan candidates were examined in all areas of the Choi Kwang Do syllabus over a period
of 5 hours.
On the examing panel for this testing was Grandmaster Choi & Grandmaster Woo.

European Choi Kwang Do Seminar - 20th Anniversary Celebrations |

After months of anticipation the European Choi Kwang Do Seminar hit the UK in style. With a host
of activities, testings and training sessions coupled with attendees from USA, Australia, Korea,
India, Spain, Russia and Austria those in attendance were present to make history.

International Black Belt Testing Results |

The students and instructors of Harrow Choi Kwang Do would like to congratulate Harrow CKD's
newest Black Belt Mr Sohail Chaudhry on his promotion to First Degree Black Belt and Mr Abid
Musa on his promotion to Second Degree Black Belt at the Interntaional Black Belt Testing in
Surrey on Thursday 24 April 2008! Both instructors did fantastically well showing excellent
technical standard and stamina though out the testing!
The examining panel consisted of Grandmaster Choi, Grandmaster Woo, Master Pereira, Master
Banfield, Master Brophy and Master Cairney.
